International Students

Get the total Canadian college experience — live in residence.

Sheridan's residences feature modern, clean facilities, a safe, smoke-free environment, and fully furnished suites with common kitchen and laundry facilities.

International students are provided with all the basics needed to establish a life conducive to study abroad. When you arrive at Sheridan College residence, a member of the residence team will greet you and provide you with the keys to your new home.

Study Permit: August 1

The process for obtaining a Student Visa is challenging, and this year more than ever, new international students are facing hurdles with obtaining post-secondary education in Canada. We do not encourage holding a space open while waiting for approval to come to Canada.

International students who do not have their study permit by August 1st are encouraged to cancel their residence application by this date. Holding a space beyond August 1st while not eligible to arrive to Canada and attend classes, will subject you to full cancellation penalties.

How to apply to live in residence

You must submit your residence application online with a $100 CDN non-refundable application fee. If you're coming for eight-week sessions of ESL/EAP or for the summer semester, please contact the residence directly for details on availability

Paying Online

All residence fees can be paid online using the Sheridan Payment Platform cibc.sheridancollege.ca. Payment options include Debit, Credit, Bank Wire and more. Please make sure to select "Residence" as the destination for your payment.
