Frequently asked questions

  • As a Sheridan alumnus, you can continue to access your Sheridan email account and myStudentCentre where you can access transcripts, grades and other information associated with your student record. Learn more about your Alumni Account and how to access it and reset your password.

To make sure your information stays safe, Sheridan is making cybersecurity stronger. Starting on Saturday, November 25, you'll need to use Multifactor Authentication (MFA). This means that besides your regular Sheridan login details, you'll also need to confirm your identity with another method. The first time you do this, you'll see a message asking for more information. Just follow the instructions on the screen to set up MFA. We strongly suggest you use Microsoft Authenticator for the most seamless, hassle-free method of authentication. It allows you to receive push notifications that can quickly and easily be acknowledged.

For more details, check out the Multifactor Authentication guide.

We're also making it simpler for you to change your password. The new way uses the safety features in your Sheridan Microsoft 365 account. You'll need to update your password at least once a year. For step-by-step instructions and information about password rules, check out the IT guide on Password Changes/Forgotten Passwords.

If you're unsure about these changes, you can reach out to IT for help. You can chat with them online at support.sheridancollege.ca or call 905-845-9430 ext. 2150.

  • Digital transcript requests can be made online through myStudentCentre. Documents are processed hourly and sent to MyCreds™, an electronic portal that provides students and alumni with greater mobility in accessing and sharing official transcripts with employers or other third parties. View detailed instructions on how to submit a transcript request.

You will receive a confirmation email from MyCreds™ to your Sheridan email address once your digital transcript is available. It will include a link to the MyCreds™ Learner Portal and important instructions on how to activate your account. Once you sign in to the portal using your Sheridan email address, you will be able to view and share your document.

If you need to reset your password, or obtain your username, please contact the IT department at 905-459-7533 x2150. If you do not know your Sheridan Student ID, you can obtain it by emailing the Alumni Office at alumni@sheridancollege.ca.

Should your academic records predate Fall 1994, or if you require a hard copy version of your transcript, please email academic-history@sheridancollege.ca.

For more information, please visit: myotr.sheridancollege.ca/mycreds.html.

When the payment has been received, they will reprint your diploma/degree and mail it out to you.
