Rory Sommers completed his BA in Criminology from Wilfrid Laurier and his MA in Criminology and Criminal Justice Policy from the University of Guelph.  Rory received his PhD in Sociological-Criminology from the University of Guelph where he examined how municipal by-laws govern the everyday lives of urban citizens. Rory’s past research has focused on homelessness and poverty in Canada.
