Taran Chahal

Taran Chahal is a Business Advisor for capital planning and asset management with the City of Brampton.  He develops and implements strategy for capital funds to be deployed with the City’s 2040 vision and the upgrading and preservation of the City’s assets. Prior, he was the Senior Finance Manager for Financial Crimes Unit at the Bank of Montreal and Project Manager at the Boston Consulting Group. He also has extensive experience in championing EMS projects and agile transformation, with recent focus on construction and operational management.

Taran is a CPA and holds an MBA in consulting and operations from the Schulich School of Business at York University. He is also a CPA mentor to new students, served on the Brampton library board, grant review member with OTF and held various positions at United Way.
