Armchair Confidential

Macdonald Heaslip Hall

February 4–8, 2025

Music, book and lyrics by Aaron Jensen

Lucy’s isolated workday life is disrupted by an unexpected opportunity to crack a serial murder case in the next town over. Circumstances force her to reconcile and join forces with her former best friend, Aldo. Armchair Confidential is a wickedly clever buddy-comedy about facing fears, mending fences, and taking a chance on life.

Armchair Confidential will be running in Macdonald Heaslip Hall February 4–8, 2025.

Your ticket, their future: Help us support BIPOC students at Theatre Sheridan

By purchasing a ticket for the Saturday, February 8th performance of Armchair Confidential, you're contributing to more than just a memorable theatre experience – you're directly supporting students. 100% of every ticket sale goes toward the Class of '95 Bursary, which provides vital financial assistance to students in Music Theatre Performance and Tech Production programs who identify as Black, Indigenous, or racialized individuals.

Sheridan Alumni is honoured to sponsor Armchair Confidential at Theatre Sheridan, supporting the next generation of talent and providing opportunities for BIPOC students to pursue their dreams in the Music Theatre and Tech Production programs. Together, we're empowering future artists and creators to reach their full potential.

The Musical Development Project will be a stand-and-sing workshop presentation.

Works-in-development

Theatre Sheridan is proud to continue its legacy of developing new works.

To start our season, the First Drafts program features new musicals by some of Canada’s best writers and composers. These workshop presentations will premiere 45-minute excerpts of three never-before-seen scripts in their earliest stages of development.

The newly minted Musical Development Project provides a unique glimpse into the creative process, showcasing collaborations between our students and artists from around the world. Come see these new musicals in their final stages of development before they become the next big hit.

First Drafts and the Musical Development Project will be stand-and-sing presentations.
