President, VoX International
Susan Webb has worked in the travel industry for over 40 years, holding positions in retail, tour operating and airplane travel. A true voice of experience in the field of destination marketing, she is currently the president of VoX International — a marketing and public relations agency representing destinations and hospitality brands around the world.
Webb began her career booking executive and corporate travel, eventually moving to sales at luxury tour operator SkyLark travels. She’s held roles with some of Canada’s most successful and respected tour operators and retailers, including American Express Travel, Adventure Tours/ITH/Signature Vacations and Canada 3000 Holidays. In 2002, Webb and two colleagues decided to strike out on their own, founding VoX.
“Sheridan not only provided me with the skills I needed to launch my career, it also showed me the number of avenues I could pursue within the industry,” said Webb. “My professors actually worked in the industry, and impressed on me the importance of good work ethic, as well as how impactful it is to form lasting industry relationships.”
Active in many industry organizations, Webb is the president of Skal Canada — a professional organization of tourism leaders around the world. She is also the president of Discover America Canada, an organization that works to develop and build Canadian tourism to the U.S. In addition, Webb sits on advisory boards for various tourism and hospitality programs in Canada, looking to guide the next generation of tourism professionals.
