Catherine Madukayil holds a bachelor of science degree in chemistry, physics and mathematics, which she received in India. She also has a bachelor’s degree in education, and finished her Master’s (in mathematics) at York University in Toronto in 2014.

Catherine came to Canada in 2003, and started her career as a supply teacher with Grand Erie District School Board in Brantford, Ontario. The same school board then hired her to teach at one of its alternative high schools, where she worked for the next 3.5 years, teaching a variety of subjects like mathematics, accounting and marketing.

Catherine joined Sheridan in 2010, and is a part-time mathematics professor in the Faculty of Applied Science and Technology. She teaches first, second and fourth-semester courses in computer engineering and mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
