Marcel Nelson graduated with a Ph.D. in Political Studies from Queen's University. In addition to his Ph.D., Marcel obtained an M.A. from York University and a B.Soc.Sc from the University of Ottawa.
He has published different types of works on a whole range of topics including regional integration in the Americas, the relationship between social movements and governments, resource extraction, inequality, housing policy, and populism.
