Jeff Corey joined Sheridan in 2017 and teaches in the School of Public Safety. Prior to this, he was a senior officer with Halton Regional Police Service with over 30 years of operational policing experience in areas including: Criminal Investigations, Professional Standards, Community Policing, Tactical Rescue, Media Relations and Use of Force Instruction.

Jeff is a graduate of McMaster University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with both a Diploma and Masters Degree in Public Administration.

Volunteering has been important to Jeff and recently he completed a 10-year tenure with a not-for-profit organization that provides supportive house program services for residents living with mental health conditions. He has been a volunteer soccer and football coach and recently completed referee certification in sprint canoe/kayak racing. Jeff is an avid runner, skier and cyclist.
