As of 12:01 a.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2025, full-time support staff at Ontario's 24 colleges, including Sheridan, commenced strike action. Sheridan campuses remain open and classes are proceeding as scheduled. Oakville is 30 minutes from downtown Toronto and only an hour’s drive from Niagara Falls. It’s a beautiful city, from the old-world feel of downtown to multicultural Kerr Village to the waterfront Village of Bronte. Restaurants, cafés and galleries also fill the downtown core.
