Child of the Wild is a musical adventure exploring themes of grief, friendship, and the transformative power of the natural world. Set against the backdrop of a Wilderness Therapy Program in southern Utah, Child of the Wild tells the story of an unlikely friendship forged between two young people, forced out of their Digital Age comfort zones and into the great outdoors.
Child of the Wild will be running in Macdonald Heaslip Hall February 4–8, 2025.
The Musical Development Project will be a stand-and-sing workshop presentation.
Works-in-development
Theatre Sheridan is proud to continue its legacy of developing new works.
To start our season, the First Drafts program features new musicals by some of Canada’s best writers and composers. These workshop presentations will premiere 45-minute excerpts of three never-before-seen scripts in their earliest stages of development.
The newly minted Musical Development Project provides a unique glimpse into the creative process, showcasing collaborations between our students and artists from around the world. Come see these new musicals in their final stages of development before they become the next big hit.
